Inspired by Casa Gilardi

In Casa Gilardi, Barragán takes color beyond the surface. The prominent pink wall stretching across the pool space engages in dialogue with water and light, altering the perception of the space. Color is no longer just a finish: it commands presence, reflects, expands, and seems to become part of the space itself.

GILARDI originates from this encounter. Barón & Vicario captures the boldness of the planes and the interplay between geometry and color, reinterpreting them at a new scale. In resin, color no longer rests on a surface: it enters the material, gains depth, and transforms as light passes through it.
