Inspired by Fuente de San Cristóbal

At San Cristóbal, Barragán incorporates water as an essential architectural element. The fountain is not an isolated ornamental feature: water introduces movement into a composition built from geometric planes, walls, and color. Set against the permanence of architecture, water continuously shifts, reflects, and transforms its surroundings.

FUENTE stems from this meeting of the constant and the fluid. Barón & Vicario revisits the geometry of this architectural gesture, bringing it into materials that allow this same relationship to be explored through a different lens: solidity coexists with transparency, color with light, and volume with a sense of depth.
